Ministry
It’s March already. How? Summer is almost here! FourTwelve has been going
really well. We have a few new students’ coming. They were invited by students
who already attend FourTwelve. It’s been cool to see the students growing in
their walk and taking steps out of their comfort zone. On March 15th FourTwelve
will be going to Haven of Rest for a mission’s trip. We are excited to see what
opportunities God brings through this.
Personal
Carly, Vance, Harvey, and I are doing well! For a while we were off and on with
sickness but hopefully, we are on the upswing from all of that! In January, Carly
and I were able to get away for a weekend and attended Marriage for Life. It was
a great time, and it was a very impactful conference. Harvey turned 3 in February
and Vance turns 6 in May. Time flies!
Devotion/Challenge
How would you explain to a non-believer how they can become a Christian? This
was a question we discussed in FourTwelve. The discussion time with this
question was so great! How would you explain this? What scripture would you
use to back up what you’re saying?
We should start with our doctrine, what we believe. This is our foundation. We
must know and understand what we believe. How often are we asking ourselves
this question? How often are we sharing the gospel? I don’t want to give my
answer in the blog, if you have questions I would rather sit down for coffee and
talk about it!
It’s so important for us to always be ready for this opportunity. It seems so easy
and maybe like it’s something we should be able to explain without prepping.
Even though we feel like we know how to do this, we should practice, read the
scriptures, and make it a part of our weekly routines so when we are given the
opportunity, we are sharp and ready to go! If you need some scripture to go to
here are some! Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:38.
Love you all!!!
